Mondial Language Services was born from a vision by owner and head teacher, Florencia Levy and was established in 2003 in Western Australia.
Tired of teaching language courses that were strictly structured around a book format which was not focused on the students needs, Florencia knew there was a better way. For Florencia, learning and teaching languages is not just a job - it is a culmination of a lifetime's passion.
Born in Argentina, Florencia was educated from the age of three in both Spanish and English. Throughout her primary and secondary education she also learnt French and Italian (her grandmothers native tongue). In University, she excelled in teaching English as a Second Language to all educational levels (5 year degree). Throughout this period she continued to also study French, Italian and Portugese. Florencia has also taken up a new challenge - studying Chinese Mandarin. Needless to say, Florencia knows what it is like to be a student.
After graduating with honors, Florencia taught English in Argentina establishing her own English institute teaching students going to work in the United States. Florencia also taught English in South Korea before settling in Western Australia with her husband.
In Western Australia she began teaching foreign languages at community and private institutes but felt the way of teaching could be improved upon. In 2003 she established Mondial Language Services (formerly known as Global Language Services). Over the next four years she developed her own syllabuses based upon the feedback and direction given to her by the people who's opinions most mattered - her students.
Florencia believes that learning a language should not be a chore but rather an experience. Learning a language should be an enjoyable experience where one not only learns both the language and culture but also makes friends and social acquaintances along the way.
